0 I have a Yard Machine E640F snow blower. I have something wrong with the starter. The electric start will not start the machine. The pull cord will not even pull out, so I know it is inside the started somewhere. I moved the machine inside to thaw it out. I now know that the engine is not frozen up. I took off the cover to the Pull cord, sprayed it down with WD40 so it would turn. Put the cover back on, the cord would not pull fine. I tried the electric start again. It TRIED to go, the light went on, it was working on starting. The starter was spinning, but there was a rattle inside that kept it from starting. There has to be a loose or broken piece inside there. How do I get into that area to see what the problem is?? When I have the pull cord cover off is see a 1 inch nut inside a cylinder. Does this have to come off to get to what I might be looking for??? What else must I do to get to the area causing the problem??
