my 690 thru hydrostatic lawn tractor stoped moving...

my 690 thru hydrostatic lawn tractor stoped moving foward while cutting grass, it stopped as if I hit the breraks on a car engine was still running and cutting it would not engage foward or reverse. I shut down the mower rekeived the hydroic valve I could push it . When restarting engine ran but no movement what could be wrong
