0 Take the spark plugs out. Try cranking it. If it does spin, you may have a valve problem. Or if you have raised the mower to a "vertical" position, the engine cylinder may be FULL OF OIL, and need relief. Perform above proceedure. (Worth a shot)

0 What do you mean "gets caught"? If you mean it turns over slowly and then stops, make sure your battery is fully charged, cable connections are clean. If so likely your starter.
