I have a white outdoor riding mower 136t696h190. ...

I have a white outdoor riding mower 136t696h190. Was mowing and it just shut off. Took carb solenoid off and broke the wire in the process. Just stuck a bolt in there to see if it would start back up, and it did. I tried to move it and wouldnt move and wont engage blades. The wire to the solenoid would that affect that?

0 my stupidty the hrydro relief knob was engaged, so after switching that it moved, but still wont engage blades
