0 Hello Bob. I'm not sure if your Troy-Bilt 4 cycle trimmer uses the same engine as my Sarlo CS-16 trimmer... A Briggs and Stratton 021000 series engine. I have had the same problem in the past with mine.. It seems the Camshaft in mine keeps jumping out of time with the crankshaft. I am in the process now of trying to find some help of locating the timing marks for these parts in the engine.. I have totally disassembled the engine in the past and through trial and error managed to get it back in time and running fine again.. But now it seems to have gotten out of time again. Still running but very sluggish, and low RPM at full throttle. Not sure you even have the same engine, but thought I would let you know what I have been dealing with, with my 4 cycle trimmer.
