my weed eater only runs with choke clossed the air filter is clean,it is also vey hard to start

1 My brand new gas weed eater starts easy and idles normally. When I open the throttle it wants to die. Suspect fuel starving. Will run off idle with the choke almost fully shut. Cleaned in-tank fuel filter with starting fluid.

1 My new weed trimmer began running badly after about 5 or 6 uses. Took it to the local Cenex store where I bought it and the mechanic took the carb apart and cleaned it. It has some white buildup in it indicating the presence of moisture in the gasoline tank. I had replaced the fuel filter and it didn't help. It runs better now.
