Question About Troy-Bilt Trimmer TB425CS, TB475SS, TB490BC
string spool...

I want to remove the spool so that I can replace it with one that doesn't have to be wound and bumped. But I cannot figure out how to take off the original.

1 I got down to the outer spool and got stuck. There are two snap rings that hold the rest in place. The bottom one is a real bear to get off. Please let me know if you figure out how to get the outer spool off. Bob Hayes rhayes@wisperhome.com
