I am unable to replace the line on the trimmer. There has been a recall on this model however, when I look at the blow-up of the picture in the notice it is not the same head as on mine. I have one with an orange plastic center that has notches cut out of it, sandwiched between two solid black plastic parts. NONE have holes in which to place or tie off the line. The only directions on it are to wind counter clockwise and no manual was provided.
