The ManualsOnline team has found the manual for this product! We hope it helps solve your problem. Get the Manual Here
5 The spool on mine looks just like the one here - TB539E. Looks like you just push in string from one side to the other and wind (no dissasembly at all - as previous poster said). Only thing is, the manual does not say that - it says to line up arrows, cut two pieces of string, make a loop in one, then put in the other, then move one reel not the other, ..... at least the ones downloaded today (maybe they are old as the trimmer is not - just bought).

0 study the manual.... loading in new line only requires that you feed the line through the attached trimmer head and rotate the head.... line will automatically fill both spools.... you do NOT take the head apart....

0 This may be true, as the manual I downloaded for my TB424CS from here and Troybilt looks nothing like the one on the machine. It has a bump-plate that simply comes off with push-in flanges. The manual mentions and inner and outer reel, bump knob, and arrows that should line up. The one on the machine has none of these.

0 I put in the wrong number - my manual and machine are both for TB525CS - but they do not match.
