Question About Troy-Bilt Snow Blower 8526
Transmission...

The transmission on my 8526 will not disengage from #2. I struggled briefly trying to get it out of 2nd, then 1st, then reverse. I can still use it but I would like reverse and 1st back.

5 The engagement rod has a keeper that has vibrated out of place. The blower shop replaced the keeper but it immediately vibrated out of place again.I fixed mine by wrapping duct tape around the rod just above the keeper. Has worked fine ever since.
