Will the unit operate from a gravity feed water so...

Will the unit operate from a gravity feed water source of a 44 gallon elevated drum filled with water.?? or does the water source have to come from a mains water pressure. Have a need to use the unit where no town water pressure is at hand. Thank you for assistance R. Jones
