Troubleshooting wheel/bearing issues on rear weel ...

Troubleshooting wheel/bearing issues on rear weel drive Troy built mower. Wheels will only roll foward and not reverse when drive system is disengaged. Have tried lubricating several times. Are there parts that I need to replace?
