how do you replace the pull string that starts the engine

0 The recoil assy rope can be restrung with NEW starter rope from any local hardware type store carrying it. Remove the complete top metal housing exposing the flywheel. Tunr the recoil assy over but DO NOT REMOVE the pulley.Snip the rope still on the pulley and remove.Now before you restring the new rope you have to prewind the pulley in the direction it would turn it would turn when you pull start it.Then load the pulley with the rope and slowly let the pulley unwind as it reels in the rope.Then reinstall rope handle
