How to replace drive cable on troy-bilt v560 self prop mower...

Was mowing- Drive Control lost 'tension' - Unsure of all parts for cable, at transmission, are there (no diagram found) - Assume cable damaged/missing spring? PLEASE HELP... THANX!!
