Question About Troy-Bilt Lawn Mower Pony
Cable break-Troy-Bilt Pony Riding Lawn Mower...

If you find yourself engaging the mower blades and all of a sudden the lever has no resistance or it suddenly disengages...your deck cable has broken. Happened twice in three years of moderate use. Safety switches require disengage blades each time to reverse...wonder if others have this problem?

5 The reverse safety switch is an electrical contact located on the shifter rod just inside the left rear wheel. Disconnecting the wire will disable the switch and allow you to reverse with the blades running. Be careful if you have kids or a dog!!
