bealt keeps on slipping off...

Troy-Bilt PONY 8 Transmission Riding Lawnmower. 17. Hp I was cutting grass and the tractor stopped going forward. I then found out the belt had slipped under the battery/seat. I put it back on twice to have it only come off again. Belts tight as !$#$ have no ideal why it comes off.
