Question About Troy-Bilt Edger TBLE
blade replacement...

I need to replace the blade and can't get the old one off.

3 It is very simple. Your edger came with a funny piece of stiff wire. Insert one end of it into the slot at the bottom of the blade hub to stop it from turning. You may need to rotate the blade to get the notch aligned. The nut turns in the REVERSE direction from normal for removal. You may also use a large nail if the wire is not avaibale. The nut is very stiff so extra effort may be required.
