5 I did the same thing i did not work on mine till the day before. Mine had a bad magneto so i was out of luck for that storm. But we can find out what's up with yours. These need compression (almost always are ok) spark, air and fuel. Air is pretty simple as there isn't a filter so as long as a squirrel didn't shove acorns in the carb your good. Spark is next make sure there isnt a ground like a idle lever too low or key is off. take the spark plug out and pull the cord your looking for a small blue spark when you pull it the end of the plug needs to be touching something metal. If you dont have spark replace the plug if thats not it its the magneto or points (same part) and you need to find one ebay has them. If it has spark its not getting fuel. you need to drop the float bowl and clean the intake and bowl. Or just skip all that and spray ether in the carb with the choke off and throttle wide open close the choke and pull once it starts take the choke off and put your thumb over the opening that will suck the sediment and water out of the bowl. its a quick fix that will get it running.
