how do i put the spring back on the flot in the ca...

how do i put the spring back on the flot in the carb for a toro power lite snow blow. i took it a part and clean the carb and replace all gaskets and it leaks gas out around the flot cover. and now it runs fine but cant get the leaks to stop?
