Toro Wheel Horse mower - mower starts OK, but afte...

Toro Wheel Horse mower - mower starts OK, but after 30 minutes or so the engine dies. The mower will restart but as soon as I take my foot off the pedal, the engine dies. Wait a couple hours and it will run just fine for another littl while? Any help would be appreciated.
