Loss of forward drive...

After about an hour mower will not drive forward. After it cools, it works again?

0 I just bought a used one and have the same problem, except mine will only go about two minutes and then goes intermittently in and out. It appears the belt is slipping on the drive clutch. I havent had a chance to figure out how to replace and adjust the belt yet. Let me know if you know how to do this and i'll do the same if i figure it out.

0 The hydraulic pump is a direct drive from the motor. Check oil level in hydrostst. I put a gauge in the test ports and checked the pump/motor. When cold the pressure is just acceptable (4000psi), however when hot the pressure drops to 2500psi. Hydrostat needs a rebuild, new unit $3500, still trying to find parts to rebuild.
