Why won't my swisher lawn sweeper pick up leaves? ...

Why won't my swisher lawn sweeper pick up leaves? It clogs right away. After working with it over and over, I finally gave up and raked by hand. I tried to pull it behind my lawnmower. I used to have an Agra-Fab and it worked fine.
