Ours idles but dies when you pull in the arms. Do...

Ours idles but dies when you pull in the arms. Doesn't matter which arm, since we were told you have to pull in one before the other. But both arms are holding a grey button and when either button is released it dies. What are we doing wrong? Danettejensen69@gmail.com
