Question About Simplicity Snow Blower SMI I924E
Replacing broken shear pin...

The holes in the shaft and auger do not line up. I removed the bearing cap and flange and slide the auger as far the the outside as I could to find the shaft hole. I pushed the auger back in but it still need a half inch to go. Is it possible for the shaft to shift that much. How do I get it to shift back?
