I need to replace the auger control cable on my 520E snowblower. I now have the new cable, but due to the size of the rectangular plastic piece near the top of the cable (for which to bolt the cable onto the bar handle) it cannot fit through the slot the bar passes through near the engine casing. Rather than disassembling many pieces on the engine in order to remove the bar so the cable with rectangular piece can slip through the hole, is there any easier way to do this? Thanks for any advice.
