blade wont engage...

when i push lever for the blade to engage it kills the engine

1 engine RUNS FINE UNTIL PTO SWITCH IS ENGAGED. engine ALSO RUNS IF YOU GET UP OFF SEAT.ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY HELPFUL. THANKS CHRIS
