Question About Sears Trimmer 316.791880

I posted a question about the head not spinning.... Here's how I fixed it... I took the head off and removed the drive cable/shaft. Took a copper pipe cutter and cut off one quarter inch from the lower pipe. Re-drilled the one positioning hole and it works perfect.
