rear axle

for Sears Lawn Mower 917.254661

axle keeps coming out of transmission

    It will have to be sucured with a "C" clip. This means you will have to separate the Transmission halves and replace the clip on the end of the axle. Hope this helps. Good Luck! p.s. this is no job for a novice. from the Mower Doctor

    Looking for manual for this riding lawnmower. Mom's lawnmower will go into gear but will not move forwards or backwords; any help greatly appreciated!
