The gasoline line from the tank to the carburator… deteriorated and has to be replaced. My question is, how is the line connected/inserted to the gasoline tank? Is there a flot inside the tank? Thanks

Chainsaw mod 358-355161 If I squirt gas into carb… , it runs for 3 seconds but does not pick up fuel into fuel line and dies. Is it poor carb suction or is there a filter in the gas tank that could be plugged??
