my mower starts and runs for 5 seconds then shuts ...

my mower starts and runs for 5 seconds then shuts off will not start again until i let it sit for a while then it will start and run for 5 seconds is there a circut breaker ?it is geting fuel oil is full plug is new thanks Joe.
