Question About Scotts Lawn Mower S1642, S1742, S2046
blade belt...

Have a S2046 on the manual it shows 6 pullys on the deck but the one I have I only see 5 don't know how the belt goes.

5 The belt goes around the front pulley, down the left side of the mower around the two pulleys in the back. Then it goes up to the center pulley in the middle (this is the trick) the back side of the belt goes on the leftside of the larger pulley, thus making a loop that goes around the small pulley to the right of the one in the middle. 5 There are 6 pulleys on the deck belt....the drive belt has 5, and that is the one I was talking about. I am including the picture for the 42inch deck and the 46 inch desk belt placement. Hope this helps someone. Chuck

0 I bought the repair manual on cd in order to figure out how this worked. I have replaced this belt twice. Just fyi Chuck

0 Are you not counting the pully that is on the motor? That may be the sixth pully that you are looking for.
