Question About Ryobi Trimmer 780r
spark plug...

I have a 4 cycle ryobi 790r brush cutter. I need a spark plug for it. The plugs says GENUINE REPLACEMENT PARTS A4RTF. Please tell me if I can use champion plug and what size. I took the old plug to my local hardware & auto parts stores and they said good luck in finding one.

4 I found a Champion # 940 is what I got it to cross to at my work.

3 I believe I finally got a cross reference from MTD Canada Champion RTZ19H or Ryobi 791-180852B. I haven't done this yet but you are supposed to be able to special order these from Canadian Tire or Home Hardware. The number for MTD parts is 1 800 265-2256. I hope this helps as I have spent the entire summer looking for this part.

0 I have a customer looking for the same plug, I crossed it to a Champion RDZ19H (940) but the porcelain is much shorter than the original and he didn't think the spark plug boot would reach
