Question About Ryobi Trimmer Ry30002, Ry30002a, Ry30041, Ry30041a
carburetor problem...

unit will only run with choke engaged, I don't know how to adjust the carb.

5 Take a pair of small pliers and pull off the white and red plastic adjusters to reveal the metal adjustment knobs with a slot in them. The left one is for idle and the right one is for full throttle. If the trimmer starts o.k., leave the left one alone. Once started, pull the trigger to full throttle. While holding the trigger, turn the right screw 1/4 turn at a time ccw. If the rpm's decrease, turn it cw 1/4 turn at a time. Find the point at which you reach max rpm and leave the screw set there.
