I just want to know about the oil, there isn't an ...

I just want to know about the oil, there isn't an oil level indicator and I haven't used it in years and I'm not too sure the oil light on the front is still working and I obviously don't want to seize the engine, how else can I make sure the oil inside is sufficient?
