How are the gas lines run on carb. Two holes in fuel tank, two hoses to primer bulb, two hoses to carb. One hose to tank has filter, what holds the other hose in the tank?

4 Route a line from fuel fltr outlet on tank to carb inlet tube closest to muffler (brass inlet tube has 90 degree bend). Route second line from carb outlet (straight brass tube on fuel tank side of carb) to suction side of fuel primer bulb. Route third line from discharge side of primer through open (return) hole in fuel tank, ~1/2" or more into tank. If one fuel line is bad, replace all. Fuel and Air filters should be replaced when replacing fuel lines. Carb cleaning is another maintenance option.

0 Industry folks call it an "interference fit". The hole in the tank has a smaller diameter than the outside diameter of the hose/tubing. Once the tubing is forced through the hole, a tight seal is created by the interference fit.
