5 Route one line from the fuel filter outlet on the fuel tank to the carb inlet tube closest to the muffler (brass inlet tube has 90 degree bend). Route a second line from the carb outlet (straight brass tube on the fuel tank side of the carb) to the suction side of the fuel primer bulb. Route the third line from the discharge side of the primer bulb back through the open (return) hole in the fuel tank, ~1/2" or more into the tank. If one fuel line is bad, replace them all. The fuel filter and air filter should be replaced when replacing the fuel lines. Carb cleaning is another maintenance option, but that's a separate discussion. Ask if you need to know.
