It is imperative that NO Gas or Oils get on the plastic parts of this particular chainsaw. There is quite a bit of plastic on metal areas and by excess fuels and lubricants making contact with these areas or the electrical connections around the Spark Plug area will tear this chainsaw very quickly. Avoid this by using funnels and being extremely careful when putting the proper liquids back in the saw. Always use 2 Cycle Oil with a fuel stabilizer on this model. The engine is very receptive to bad fuel and it will wear you out before you even get to the wood. If you don't baby your tools and clean them up after every use, this chainsaw is not for you. She's very high maintenance, but at least she don't cost as much as a wife.
