Question About Roper Snow Blower 608-261
gear isn't working...

whenever i shift it into gear it does nothing and i mean nothing. The tire doesn't roll on their own i have to push the snowblower and i don't know what's wrong with it. i've checked everything and it looks to be in working order. Please help!

0 I have the same blower.The problem is the bronze bearings located under the metal plate held by 2 nuts that hold an axle up.When they wear out it shifts the drive components just enough that the friction wheel will not contact the drive plate.Do you have a parts or owners manual for this blower?
