i Have not used my MB 70 trimmer for a couple of y...

i Have not used my MB 70 trimmer for a couple of years and the battery does not take a charge when I use your charger. I assume that the battery needs replacing. How do you change the battery? How do I run on 240volts W/O battery? Why does your trimmer 2.4 volts DC on the bottom an your charger say it's out put is 5.3 volts??
