i purchased a rm5118r chain saw from sears this ma...

i purchased a rm5118r chain saw from sears this march. I used the saw for a couple of days and put it up. a month later saw a puddle of oil coming out of the case and all of the bar oil drained out of the saw. I called your dealer locator number and took it to them and they told me this was normal. is this right? the saw will drain all of the oil from the oil tank setting in the case?

5 They will leak a little sometime, but not like you describe. It sounds like the seal at the bar is missing or destroyed
