how to I remove the gas tank from a Powermate 18 i...

how to I remove the gas tank from a Powermate 18 in. 196cc Rear Counter-Rotating Gas-Powered 4-Cycle. The tiller would not start. I changed spark plug, cleaned carb but the gas in tank is old. Need to empty it and refill it with new gas.
