My Poulan Pro gas weeder/trimmer (PP025) starts right up. The moment you in in-gage the handle to control fuel/speed it stalls. Cleaned filter and engine with carp cleaner and it still stalls. What gives?

0 Check the spark plug out and make sure it isn't built up with black carbon! If it is buy a new plug and call a small engine shop to get the right gap setting, then gap the plug to the right setting. Then put the new plug back in and try it out.
