Question About Poulan Lawn Mower HD145H42G
Mower deck won't engage...

This is a Home Depot model about 6 yrs. old. I have new deck belt and new blades. Was mowing OK but quit cutting. I now can't get the deck to engage. It raises & lowers OK but the lever to engage the blades doesn't want to go up and if I force it, it won't turn the blades. Is there an adjustment or is something broken ? HELP !
