Question About Poulan Lawn Mower PXT16542
Mandral housing...

I need to replace the mandral housing on my lawn tractor. I took the bolts off and took the blade off, but then there is another metal piece that I can't get off. I am not quite sure how to finish going about getting the housing out so I can put the the one in and take control of my yard again. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

0 Are you asking about the pulley on top? Because if this is the problem, you will have to put the blade back on so that you can loosen the nut on top. You need to be able to stop it from turning while you are undoing the top nut. You'll have to jam the blade.
