i need a manual,my saw won't start.what is the fuel mix for an older poulan 245a? can i still get parts?

0 Just got one myself for 45 bucks at the flea. runs great. Man, what a tank. under the air filter hood it says 1/2 pint of oil to 1 gallon fuel. hope it helps

0 I have a 245-A chain saw I bought 25 years ago and is still going. 16:1 is the mixture. I marked it on the side when I got it new. I'm looking for a manual also please let me know if you find one. Tom

0 16:1, be careful to purchase the 2-cycle mix oil--read its labeling on back to see the concrete. different brand name are different
