Question About Poulan Chainsaw 2350
Gas line replacement...

On a 2300 Poulan model, how do you insert a new gas line through the tank itself? It is well hidden and I don't want to pull old one until I'm sure I can replace it. I have handle apart and can get to the whole line except through the gas tank.

0 If I remember correctly, the big problem was inserting the fuel line into a very tight hole in the plastic tank. Cut the tubing end off at an angle. The resulting pointy end will enable insertion. Pulling on the tubing, rather than pushing, will slightly shrink the O.D. and help too. Use needlenose pliers or hemostat to reach inside the tank.
