When holding throttle to start cutting, the motor doggs then cuts out. Tried adjusting high on carb but nothing changed.

3 1 of 2 things 1- clean the muffler out. 2- Clean your fuel filter on the inside of the fuel tank. And there is a 3- try and taking your carbrator, use a camera and take pic's of each part you remove.

0 have same problem. have cleaned carb out. filter in body of carb gets plugged with saw dust prticles. have to watch out for that. but also even tried to run it without in line filter and a perfectly clean fuel tank. still does it. new plug didnt help. and adjusted the pulley magnet a hair closer for better spark. all to no help. going to put new wires and new rings in and will see if that helps. if anyone has any ideas i would greatly appreciate it.

0 The Carb is dirty would be my quess .You will need to take the chainsaw apart so you can get to the screws remove both High and Low screws .Count the turn out or in which ever works for you. Spray Carb cleaner in the holes and a couple sprays in the Carb and put it back togeter. Its going to take a few trys to start it again . Don't get discouraged. Dwayne
