machine has low operating hours, but the lazy bugger just won't start. replaced the plug, does not seem to be sparking. how difficult is it to replace the ignition module, or is it worth repairing.

4 It is not that difficult, you just to have to put into prespective. My coil went out you will need to pull the impeller and the carb and the casing. pull the motor out yo wil see the coil, but be SURE itis not fireing, be sure you ground the plug when pulling the starter rope and not in the sunlight. Additionally read the directions the throttle must be in rabbit position or you wil not get fire.
