To clean the filter gently remove the white plastic cone filter from the water intake, it will look like its part of the intake but it will slide out , take a pair of hemostats or something that can apply pressure to the inside of the ring and slide out. rinse in water or use CLR to remove the lime, replacement filters can be purchased at your local home depot or lows.
