I stored my EX1000 with no fuel in it for roughly ...

I stored my EX1000 with no fuel in it for roughly a year. I got it out and got it running it runs fine BUT there is fuel coming out of what seems to be a fuel vent line on the front of the generator. Any idea what this is and how to make it stop? thanks
